Jodi Bird

Hello everyone! I want to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Jodi Bird, I am 34 and I live in Deer Lodge,Montana. My husband and I have been married for 13 years and have 6 beautiful kids. Tyson is 13, Madison is 11, Saige is 9, Summer is 7,Emma is 4 and Kiera is almost 2. Over the past 14 years we have lived in Utah, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Oklahoma, Florida and now back to Montana. Of the 6 places my favorite has been Utah, of course because it is the scrapbook capitol and it is where I started my family, although Florida is a close second!

My family and religion is very important in my life. I always turn to the Lord for guideance to Choose The Right and be an example to them. I want my children to grow up and know that they are a Child of God and he will help and guide us through all of our trials. I know that if we strive to live a rightous life my family will return to live with him togeather for all eternity.

I attended  the University of Kansas, BYU-Hawaii and The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. I have been working towards a degree in Fashion Design. I love to sew and design Wedding gowns and evening wear, maybe someday I will be famous! But right now I am launching my very own children's clothing line!

Over the past 17 years I have been scrapbooking and paper crafting. I love everything about it. It is definatly my quiet time and where I can get away from the crazy life of 4 kids and house cleaning. Durring that time I have been a presenter and teacher at 8 national scrapbooking conventions all over the USA. I also teach local classes and workshops monthly. My favorate scrapbook designer is Hedi Swapp and I love 7 gypsies, SEI, Dasiy D's, Wild Asparagus and Close To My Heart! I would have to say that I couldn't live without Ribbon or buttons, they are my weekness when it comes to buying supplies, and just about every page I do has them on it.  It has been a fun and enjoyable journey learning about scrapbooking and paper crafting. I have won a few Art contest and awards at Art shows over that time but  I honestly cannot take all the credit for it because it is all of you who inspire me and my art.
