Paper Distressing

Paper distressing with ink

This techniqe is more advanced than sanding but looks cool. First thing is you want to stamp your cardstock and then spray it with a water bottle. Get the entire piece of cardstock good and wet. Then you will crinkle it up very carefully. Open the paper and lay it flat on the table. you can either let it air dry or use an iron to get it dry. After it is dry you will then take a stipple brush and stipple over the enitre piece of cardstock with ink. The next step is to then delut some brown reinker in water and paint it over the top of the cardstock to give ot an old tea died effect. The last step that i do is then take a sponge and ink around the corners with a shade darker ink then what I used for the stipple and painting. See below how awesome the paper turned out. This swas a very light tan colored cardstock.
